Delicious Garlic Shrimp Gratin Recipe – Easy & Flavorful!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the Shrimp:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
    • Toss in the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes until they start to turn pink. Remove from heat and transfer to a baking dish.
  3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
    • Cook on low heat, stirring, until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Assemble the Gratin:
    • Pour the creamy sauce over the shrimp in the baking dish.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, breadcrumbs, and a dash of paprika on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the gratin before serving.
    • Serve hot with crusty bread, rice, or a fresh salad.
